Our annual meeting is the highlight of the year.  It's a party with several important functions.  Members have a chance to mingle and are encouraged to bring a friend who is interested in learning more about our Circle.  During a short business portion, we elect officers for the coming year.  Grantees tell the group about their programs.  The energy of women helping other women through philanthropy and fellowship is inspiring!

The 2024 reception was on Tuesday, June 13 at 5495 Windward Passage,  Harbor Springs 49740.

In March the Grant Committee Chair announces a call for grants and invites members to serve on the grant review committee.  In addition to each person reading and evaluating the applications on their own, there are two  Zoom meetings in May to discuss the applications.

In 2024 we granted $75,000, bringing our total granted over the years to $825,702 invested in 173 projects. Go to the "Grants" page of this website to see details.

Jean Van Dam and Ali Hill were the 2024 Grants Committee Chairs. Serving on the committee were Connie Donovan, Gretchen Grad, Sheri Hansen, Polly Hewitt, Kathryn Krecke, Martha Lancaster, Jan Mancinelli,  Dibby Smith, Donna Stine, Karen Strough-Donnelly

Executive Committee meetings called several times a year and  are held via Zoom.  All members are encouraged to join in and participate in the governance of our Circle.
