How many girls/women have been served by the project during this project year?
We have served and average of 40 women each month with a variety of feminine products. Our strongest demand has been for pads and depends style products.

We are serving our clients remotely due to the Covid-19 pandemic. We have all of the feminine products listed on our pre-order forms available at the pantry each week. We find that approximately one fourth of our clients use this service. The remainder pick up a more generic box that we add the weekly fresh foods, dairy and meat choices. We add the feminine products

We very much wish to continue this project. We applied for a grant of $2400.00 and have used only $1248.73 of that amount. We would like to use the remainder going forward and would like to request an additional $500.00 to take us to May, 2022. We feel strongly that when our clients can shop in person again the demand for these items will increase and we will have a more realistic sense of the needs.

We have the Hestia grant listed on our Face Book page along with the logo and we also publicized the grant award in the Boyne City chamber e-news several times.
Summary Comments
This grant has been a blessing for some of our clients. It is our goal that our female clients do not have the lack of sanitary protection affect their lives adversely. As we move forward, we hope our in person restrictions are lifted and the products we are purchasing can be distributed to a larger group and we get more feedback about what we should be purchasing.
