If your program serves both males and females, how will Hestia funds specifically target women and girls?
This program serves females only.
How are recipients identified or selected to receive services? Is financial need considered?
Any female client shopping at Good Neighbors Food Pantry may select from a variety of feminine products offered.
What do you hope to achieve? What difference will this make in the lives of women and girls?
How will this project meet Hestia's mission statement?
Women and girls in our community often suffer from period poverty. When they are facing food insecurity it becomes very challenging to be able to buy these necessary items. Young women may stay home from school during their monthly period rather than face embarrasment at not having proper personal items. Older clients suffering dealing with bladder issues may stay home.
How will you evaluate or measure your success:
Feedback from clients on how their lives are impacted
