The mission of The Nehemiah Project is to provide a witness of God’s love for His people through faith and belief in the Holy Scriptures. Project Description:
We are seeking to overhaul the roof of Mary Margaret House - the women and children's shelter. Currently our shelter holds 9 beds, able to serve single women as well as mothers with children. However, our shelter is a repurposed residential house, and with time and wear the roof has fallen into disrepair. The project in total will cost with labor, materials, and other additional costs.

These funds will primarily serve women and girls, since it will fund the roof repair for the women and children's shelter. Our percentage is listed as 95% because 5% of our guests are males under the age of 18, staying there with their mother.

Our recipients go through an interview process with either the men's director and women's director.
