Project Description:
The Mechanical Mermaids are an all-girls robotics team mentored by women. We compete in offseason robotics competitions to increase mechanical and driving opportunities for females. We partner with girls from other Northern Michigan high school robotics teams to emphasize female participation through program collaboration. We seek cultural and educational experiences for our students as we travel for competition.

We hope to interact with other local women to gain presence in our field and find community in Northern Michigan. We hope more women are empowered to pursue STEAM activities.
